We are pleased to announce our 2016-2017 Institute Winter Retreat, December 2-4, 2016 in New York City. The three-day retreats will involve intensive seminars in Counterpoint, Keyboard Harmony as well as the Institute’s legendary analysis Masterclasses on specific TBA works. The retreat will be limited to 10 students.
The Retreat is ideal for EAMA Institute Alumni who wish to further the training they received in Paris, as well as for new students who wish to experience a sampling of the legendary EAMA Institute method.
For three days and two nights, you will be immersed in the EAMA Institute experience, taking group classes in Analysis, and smaller group sessions in Keyboard Harmony and Counterpoint. The Institute Retreat will be led by Dr. Philip Lasser (Institute Director) and Dr. Benjamin C.S. Boyle (Institute Associate Director). With only space for 10 students, this is a rare chance to work closely with our faculty and receive individualized training in the EAMA tradition.
The December 2-4, 2016 retreat will take place at private home in Manhattan. Students are responsible for finding their own housing and food.
